Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 22, 2024 – A Little Rock woman is in the Craighead County Detention Center after District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge her with seven felonies.
Cleishia Martin, 27, was arrested Sunday, April 21, following an incident in March in which she and two others were found to have been breaking into vehicles in Pocahontas, Walnut Ridge, Hoxie and Jonesboro, according to a probable cause affidavit by Jonesboro Detective Madison Dobbs.
Arkansas State Police located a vehicle that was involved in the breaking and entering at the Walmart on Highland Drive. Stolen credit cards and other items, including a handgun were found in the vehicle.
Martin is charged with engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, breaking or entering/article from a vehicle, theft of property credit/debit cards, theft of a firearm, theft of $5,000 or less, first-degree criminal mischief and fraudulent use of a credit/debit cards, all class D felonies.
Boling set Martin’s bond at $50,000. Her next court date is May 24 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
