Linda Ruth Mullins, of Trumann, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 14th. She was born on May 3, 1950, in Trumann Arkansas. Linda was devoted to her faith, loved her family deeply, and was active in her church. She embraced her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend with fervor, and indulged in hobbies like painting, writing poetry, and reading. She taught Sunday school with joy, always greeted others with a smile, and easily shared her laughter. As a young woman, she enjoyed writing and singing songs for those close to her. Her youthful spirit enriched her roles as a mother, grandmother, and mentor. For over 38 years, she educated young children about the teachings of God and the Bible at the United Pentecostal Church in Trumann She loved Christmas and always decorated the interior of her home with Christmas Villages; any flat surface was at risk of hosting a tiny Christmas setting. She would spend the whole week leading up to Christmas day baking pies and cakes and making candy for the kids. Every day is Christmas for her now.
Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Wayne Mullins and special great granddaughter Bryanna Ealey; two sons and their wives, Jackie and Kari Mullins of Trumann, Billy and Lana Mullins of Walnut Ridge, six grandchildren, Seth Mullins, Tyler Mullins (Nikki), Trenton Mullins, Nolan Mullins (Hannah), Tyler Dillport, Skylar Dillport (Isaiah Cooper); great grandchildren, Kyson Cooper, Harleigh Dillport, Isaiah Mullins; one sister and her husband, Alicia Carol and Bobby Foster.
