Lila Marie Vermilye, 106, of Fenton, MO, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away on December 11, 2024, at Fieser Nursing Home in Fenton.
Born to William and Rosa Baites Stevens in Illinois, on January 17, 1918, Lila was a devout member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George W. Vermilye, daughter Juanita, son Bill, and great-grandson Timothy.
Lila is survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on December 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery, officiated by Nelson Henderson.
