Leota “Virginia” Woods Cook, 84, of Pocahontas Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Virginia was born on August 19, 1940, in Maynard, AR to Ernest and Delma Lemons Woods. On July 2, 1959, she married the love of her life, Eddie Cook, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild, Wrenlee Kate Cook. She is survived by her devoted husband, Eddie Cook; her children, Debbie (Steve) Powers of Ravenden Springs, AR, Sandy (Timothy) Parsons of Jonesboro, AR, and Charles Eddie Cook of Springdell, AR; as well as eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Throughout her life, Virginia was known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support for her family and friends. Her loving spirit and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. All services are entrusted to McNabb Funeral Home.
Virginia will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
