Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Drivers who regularly use County Road 766, or ‘KAIT Road’, should prepare for potential delays starting next week.
According to a news release, the Craighead County Highway Department will begin alternating lane closures starting Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 a.m.

The affected stretch of road sits between Highway 351 and Highway 141.
Crews will be performing scheduled shoulder work in the area. The county notes that these lane closures will remain in effect daily from Sept. 14 until further notice.
Drivers are advised to use extra caution when driving through this area. Flaggers and warning signage will be present at the work site.
