Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 15, 2025 – Jonesboro police are investigating a suspected homicide that occurred this afternoon.
Officers were called to the 400 block of Foster Drive around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after a neighbor discovered the body of a 50-year-old woman. Upon further investigation, officers also found a deceased man in the nearby woods.
The identities of the victims is currently unknown.
“This is an ongoing investigation, and details are still being gathered,” a JPD news release said. “At this time, we do not believe any other person was involved.”
The news release added that more information will be released as soon as it is available.
