Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 14, 2024 – Jonesboro police were dispatched to a residence on Puryear Street Oct. 13 in reference to a stabbing.

Officers found the suspect standing in the road, and a male victim in the yard bleeding from his arm.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the suspect and the victim started arguing. Reportedly, the suspect grabbed another victim by the arms, attempting to throw her out of the house. This caused heavy bruising on her arms.

Allegedly, the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the male victim four times, causing minor injuries. After the fourth stab, the knife broke, after which the suspect grabbed some bricks and began throwing them at the victims. The second victim then called 911.

The suspect allegedly told the male victim he would “use the brick to bash his head in and kill him before the police could arrive.”

The suspect is charged with one count of 2nd degree domestic battering, one count of 1st degree terroristic threatening and one count of 3rd degree battery.

He was given a court date of Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m. and a bond of $50,000 c/s. Conditions of the bond are a no-contact order with the victims and an ankle monitor.
