Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – January 12, 2025 – Jonesboro Police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting that occurred near Evans Way and State Street.

According to a post on the Jonesboro Police Facebook page the E911 Dispatch Center received the first notification around 4:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to that location. Evidence on the scene indicated that a shooting did occur, and both area hospitals were notified of possible victims.
A 32-year-old male gunshot victim arrived at St. Bernards, and a 44-year-old female was treated at NEA Baptist. Both individuals arrived in personal vehicles and were undergoing treatment for their wounds.
