Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – The owner of a Jonesboro massage parlor was given a $150,000 cash/surety bond Friday following her arrest that resulted from an investigation into allegations of prostitution.

On June 26, District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge 65-year-old Na Li, owner and business manager of Tree Massage, with the following felonies:

  • Trafficking of persons (Class A)
  • Unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a certain crime (Class B)
  • Second-degree promoting prostitution (Class D)

According to the probable cause affidavit, in February 2026, Jonesboro police received a complaint that had been submitted to the FBI, stating that during a session at Tree Massage, a masseur repeatedly touched a female customer inappropriately and continued to do so despite multiple demands to stop.

The masseur then burned the customer with hot rocks, which were never requested, the affidavit said. The masseur demanded a tip and got upset when the customer did not give an additional tip.

The affidavit said Tree Massage was found to have multiple listings on escort websites, advertising young Asian females and listing bullet points such as “new Asian girls,” “happy time,” and “we will treat every gentleman here with gentle and thoughtful service.”

Surveillance was conducted at the business. Investigators found the business hours were from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, and there have only been Asian female employees not only working there, but living there. It was also discovered that known employees had frequently traveled to nearby casinos.

On April 24, a known subject was seen entering the parlor and inside for approximately an hour. During an interview with police, he said the parlor would do “happy ending,” which he received that day, paying $70 for a massage and $100 as a tip. He added he had been offered other sexual services from the business.

Information, including that from a leased vehicle associated with the business, revealed that Li was not only listed as a registered agent and manager with the business, but she was also listed as the owner of the privilege license with the city. Surveillance also showed her to be the only person who would leave the business daily, and that she, too, was living there.

Li was arrested on June 25. The owner of the Tree Massage property was contacted, telling police that they did not know Li was the new owner of the business and that they were not aware or allowing them to use the property to facilitate the crimes.

The affidavit said another employee at Tree Massage was contacted and taken to Hope Found. During an interview there, she said that she would work 13-hour shifts and live inside the parlor, with all of her items and suitcases being stored at another location, and she was not allowed access to them.

She also told investigators that over 50% of her income would go to Li, and she could not leave the business or go outside. She said she had not seen daylight since June 11.

During Friday’s hearing, Boling said that upon release, Li would need to wear a GPS ankle monitor. She also must surrender her passport and have pre-trial supervision with the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Li’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 30. If convicted on all charges, she faces up to 26 years in prison and fines up to $25,000.
