Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 27, 2024 – Officers with the Jonesboro Police Department recently responded to an accident with injury.

A 35-year-old man from Jonesboro was driving a Ford F150 when he collided with the traffic signal pole at the intersection of Red Wolf and Stallings. The vehicle and the pole suffered significant damage. The man was conscious but not responsive.

The man told firefighters at the scene that he’d just gotten out of rehab for alcohol and that he had been drinking before the accident.

He was transported to St. Bernards due to his injuries. This is his fifth DWI arrest in the last 10 years.

He’s been charged with driving while intoxicated and his bond was $20,000 cash only. His next court date is Feb. 28.
