Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – March 25, 2024 – A Jonesboro man is being held on a $150,000 bond Monday after District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge him with three felonies and three misdemeanors.

Police arrested Jerome Casey, 36, of the 1000 block of North Patrick Street on Friday afternoon after investigators with the Jonesboro Police Street Crimes Unit went to his residence because he was on probation and had a protection order against him.

A search resulted in more than 3 ounces of marijuana, a .38-caliber handgun, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia. An infant was found sleeping near where the marijuana was located.

Casey is charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor, and violation of a no-contact order.

Casey’s next court date is April 26 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
