Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 30, 2024 – A Jonesboro man was given a $500,000 bond for reportedly failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements for the fourth time.

Investigators with the Street Crime Unit conducted a Sex Offender Compliance check on 43-year-old Casiprin Gibson on Oct 28. While at his residence at 4609 Highland Park Circle, a resident on scene told officers he stays at his home “sometimes” and that he was not there the night before. She added that his closet and one of the drawers in his room was filled with women’s clothes. Officers also found no identifying documents for Gibson at his Highland Park address.

In addition, Gibson had a felony bench warrant out of the Blytheville Police Department.

After leaving, officers went to 1502 French St., since his registered vehicle frequents the address. Upon arrival, officers found Gibson’s truck. The truck was towed, since it was allegedly used in the crime Gibson had a bench warrant for out of Blytheville.

Upon his arrest, officers discovered he had a phone with internet access, which is against the requirements of his SOAP program through Probation and Parole.

Officers then conducted a probation search of Gibson’s truck, in which they found 23 Hydrocodone pills.

He was charged with one count of failure to register and one count of possession of Schedule I or II drugs that are not meth or cocaine.

Gibson was given a court date of Dec. 16 at 8:30 a.m. and a bond of $500,000 cash or surety. Conditions of the bond include an ankle monitor.

According to court documents, Gibson has three prior failures to register charges and other felony charges, including rape, sexual assault and theft.
