Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 15, 2025 — A Jonesboro man is facing multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop led officers to a marijuana discovery.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 38-year-old Martines Times was pulled over on May 13 at the intersection of Fairfield Drive and Race Street for failing to use a turn signal.
Times, who is on probation/parole, admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle, saying he had a medical card, the affidavit said. Officers found the marijuana in a plastic bag labeled “Traplahoma.”
While searching the car, police found a utility bill for an apartment at the Links, an address not under Times’ name but linked to someone he associates with. The same address appeared as “HOME” on Times’s vehicle navigation system. Officers also searched Times’ cell phone under the terms of his sentencing.
Times was detained and transported to the apartment, where officers secured the residence. Inside, they found mail addressed to Times, past police reports, and release paperwork from the Craighead County Detention Center. In the pantry, officers discovered a Walmart bag containing three additional bags of marijuana, a scale, and more “Traplahoma”-labeled bags.
Times was charged with possession with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to use a turn signal. His bond was set at $1 million cash or surety. Judge David Boling said on Wednesday that the reason he set the high bond was due to Times currently being out on three other felony bonds and under suspended imposition of sentence. His next court date is set for June 27.
