Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – March 2, 2025 – A Jonesboro man was given a $150,000 bond after being accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend.
Jonesboro police recently responded to a disturbance call at an address on Gilbert Street.
When they arrived, they saw a Ford F150 in the road with the driver’s side window shattered inward. According to the probable cause affidavit, a man took his girlfriend to the home of her ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old Brayan Toledo, who also is the father of the girlfriend’s infant child.
The girlfriend needed medicine for the child. But when she got out of the vehicle, Toledo pushed her to the ground, then punched the driver’s side window of the truck in an attempt to fight the new boyfriend. The baby was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
When the boyfriend got out of the truck, Toledo struck him. After a brief scuffle, Toledo reportedly went into his house to look for a gun. He threatened to kill the girlfriend, the affidavit said.
According to the affidavit, when officers made contact with Toledo, he was agitated and approached them aggressively. They quickly got control of him and he was arrested.
Toledo has been charged with assault, terroristic threatening, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a minor.
His bond was set at $150,000 cash/surety and his next court date is April 24.
