Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 28, 2024 – 36-year-old Andrew Bell has been arrested twice in as many days this week.

On Monday around 8am, the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Highway 226 for reports of a man screaming and causing a disturbance in front of a business.

Deputies on scene described Bell as behaving erratically and incoherent and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Deputies stated that he was behaving in a manner that was concerning for his own safety and wellbeing.

Bell was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and taken to the hospital to be cleared medically before being transported to the detention center.

He was later released around 4:25am on Tuesday.

About 12 hours later, on Tuesday around 4:30pm, Jonesboro Police Department officers responded to an address on Lafayette Ln in reference to a person refusing to leave.

Officers found Bell sitting in the back yard of a residence on a bench swing. He was again taken into custody and transported to CCDC for criminal trespassing.
