Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 15, 2025 — Police arrested a Jonesboro man over the weekend following a reported fight at his home.

Officers arrived to find 27-year-old Tonquarius McKenzie, a woman, and two male victims, ages 12 and 15.

According to the probable cause affidavit, McKenzie became angry with the 12-year-old and allegedly pushed him against a wall, grabbed his neck, and tried to choke him. The 15-year-old attempted to intervene and was also shoved.

The 12-year-old sustained visible injuries, including scratches and bruising, and his phone was damaged during the altercation, the affidavit said. The woman was eventually able to separate the individuals.

McKenzie was charged with domestic battery, assault on a family or household member, and criminal mischief. He was transported to the Craighead County Detention Center. Bond was set at $75,000 cash/surety. A no-contact order was issued, and McKenzie must wear an ankle monitor. His court date is May 22.
