Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 10, 2025 — A Jonesboro man is being held on a $175,000 bond after police said he possessed drugs and firearms, in addition to bootlegging alcohol.

While standing before Judge Tommy Fowler on Monday, 47-year-old Bobby Harrison was charged with the following:

  • One count of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms
  • One count of possession of meth or cocaine less than two grams
  • One count of possession of Schedule VI with purpose to deliver
  • One count of possession of drug paraphernalia
  • One count of sell, possession of intoxicating liquor without license 1st or 2nd offense

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers with the Street Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant at an apartment on Viking Street regarding bootlegging alcohol. The apartment belonged to Harrison.

The affidavit said that during the search, officers found boxes with 11 small bottles of liquor, a glass jar with 20 grams of marijuana, a digital scale with residue, a loaded 9mm handgun, a shotgun and various boxes of ammunition and cash in one bedroom.

Next to the front door was a cooler with 61 bottles of iced down beer. In the kitchen, officers found a plate with 0.25 grams of cocaine, along with a scraper and a tooter straw. Officers also found $684, mostly in small bills, on Harrison, according to the affidavit.

Officers advised Harrison of his rights and questioned him about the items, after which he said everything found was his and he’d been selling the alcohol found, the affidavit said.

While setting bond, Fowler noted Harrison had a long history out of Chicago and a “history of alcohol related matters.” He set Harrison’s bond at $175,000 cash or surety.

Harrison’s next court date is July 31. He’s being held in the Craighead County Detention Center.
