Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 13, 2024 – A Jonesboro man beat his ex-boyfriend with a crowbar on Sunday, police said.

On Sunday, Jonesboro police were called to St. Bernards about an assault. When they arrived, the victim told officers that 45-year-old Jeremy Huddleston hit him multiple times in the head with a crowbar.

The victim said he and Huddleston got into an argument while driving, after which Huddleston threw the victim’s phone out the window. When the victim exited the vehicle to look for his phone, Huddleston reportedly drove off and left him.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim went to Huddleston’s home to confront him about throwing his phone. The victim reportedly pushed Huddleston to the ground, after which he picked up a crowbar hit the victim in the head four to five times. This caused multiple injuries to the victim’s head.

Huddleston was charged with one count of first degree domestic battering. He was given a court date of Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m. and a bond of $50,000 cash or surety. Conditions of the bond include wearing an ankle monitor and a no-contact order with the victim.
