Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — July 14, 2025 — Jonesboro’s City Attorney’s Office has been relocated following the temporary closure of the Justice Complex building last month.
It is now located on the 1st floor of the Jonesboro Municipal Building, located at 300 S. Church St., occupying the former offices of the City’s Human Resources Department. Human Resources is now located on the 3rd floor of the same building.
The City Attorney’s Office reminded citizens it has downloadable affidavit forms here.
For those unable to access forms online, physical copies of affidavits may be picked up at the following locations:
- Jonesboro Municipal Building – 300 S. Church St.
- Jonesboro Police Department – 1001 S. Caraway Road
- Craighead County District Court – 603 Madison St.
Completed affidavits can only be returned to:
- Jonesboro Municipal Building, 300 S. Church St.
- Jonesboro Police Department, 1001 S. Caraway Road
To streamline the process, residents are encouraged to submit affidavits online whenever possible. The City Attorney’s Office hours and telephone number remain unchanged.
Its office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. Call the City Attorney’s office at 870-932-0917.
The Justice Complex building was temporarily closed on June 27 after the need to reinforce a roof rafter was discovered during a routine inspection. Repairs are estimated to take three to five weeks. Other services housed in the complex, such as District Court, have been moved to the Craighead County Courthouse Annex, located at 511 Union St.
