Jimmy Dewayne Parrish was born on July 1, 1950, at Piggott, to the late Oval and Annie Clayton Parrish. Jimmy left this world at home surrounded by his loving family on September 21, 2024. Jimmy spent 44 years spreading the word of God as a General Baptist preacher.
He leaves behind his love of his life for 50 years, Rose Ann Parrish; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Lee Kingston of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Amy Brickley of Morrilton, Arkansas, Jennifer and Shawn Fuller of Marmaduke, Arkansas; one son, Jeremy Parrish of Paragould, Arkansas; 3 granddaughters, Rachel (Dillon) of Paragould, Arkansas, Kelsey (Caleb) Allbritton of Paragould, Arkansas, and Karlee Kingston of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 7 grandsons, Dillan (Selena) Eastabrook of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Lane (Clarrisa) Parrish of Paragould, Arkansas, Colby (Lindsey) Brickley of Cassville, Missouri, William Reed of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Collin (Kassie) Kingston of Paragould, Arkansas, Ethan Brickley of Morrilton, Arkansas, and Chase Parrish of Paragould, Arkansas; great-granddaughters, Oakley, Ellie, Jessica, Annslee, and Ella; and great-grandsons, Nash, Cason, and Cache. As well as 1 sister, Louise (Richard) Vivrett; brother, Earl and the late Linda Parrish; and 1 sister-in-law, Judy (Rick) Guillot.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 23, 2024, from noon until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Keith DeFries officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
Manzo Parrish, Dale Parrish, Keith Parrish, Tommy Roush, Kenny Branum, Shawn Fuller, and Phillip Flurry will serve as pallbearers. Jimmy’s grandsons and Robert Prince will serve as honorary pallbearers.
