Oklahoma City, OK – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 10, 2024 – In the heart of Oklahoma City, elite firefighters from across the country converged for The Firefighter Challenge‘s Southwest Regional Classic, including Jonesboro Fire Department’s Invincible Firefighter Challenge Team.

From June 6th to 8th, teams from Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas faced off in a high-stakes race against time. With each team tested across five essential functions – high-rise pack carry, hose heist, forcible entry, hose advance, victim rescue.

In the Individual Relay, team members raced against the clock to earn the following times – Colby Stallings 2:22, Josh Driver 2:30, Dylan Vanglider 2:31, Jonathan Edwards 2:32

The entire team then participated in the Relay Competition. With Jonathan Edwards as the Captain, Cody Nelson, Dylan Valglider, Josh Driver, and Colby Stallings made it to semi-finals with a time of 1:43.

The team qualified to compete in Nationals in Hoover, Alabama in September and could go on to the World Challenge from there.
