Jeffery Whitman 64, of Paragould departed this life Saturday, October 26th at his home in Paragould, AR. He was born in Trumann on September 7, 1960 and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He worked at Columbia Forest until they closed and went to work at Great Dane in Jonesboro and worked there for over 20 years. He was a graduate of Trumann High School, member of Trumann Missionary Baptist Church and loved to fish, spend time with his family and ride four wheelers. Jeffery was the son of the late James Coleman and Janice Nadine Condery Whitman. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vance and Jerry Whitman
He is survived by one daughter, April (Jimmy Stout) Whitman of Paragould; two brothers, James Whitman, and John Whitman both of Trumann; two sisters, Janice Dye of Bono and Lisa Whitman of Trumann; two grandsons, Cory Whitman and Noah Ray Stout of the home; several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be Thursday from 9 am til service time. A celebration of life will be Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 10:00 at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Miles Evans officiating under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Burial will be private.
