Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 4, 2025 — The Craighead County Historical Society will have its quarterly meeting next week, in which Jeff Presley, who maintains the Facebook page The Presley Dispatch, will speak to members.

The Presley Dispatch contains a huge volume of local historical information, including stories, photographs and more. He’ll be telling members the story of building and maintaining the page.

Presley was born and raised in Caraway and is a lifelong resident of Craighead County. He was previously employed with the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office and the Jonesboro Police Department. He served on the Board of Directors for the Morgan Nick Foundation for 10 years and received training from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children in Washington, D.C.

The meeting will be held July 8 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Jonesboro’s First Baptist Church, located at 700 Union St. The entrance is through the double glass doors.
