Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Congratulations to the accepted students and award winners from “Inspired 2025,” which has opened at Bradbury Art Museum (BAM) at Arkansas State University, announced Madeline McMahan, interim director.

Inspired is an annual program that invited regional high school students to create artwork in response to what they see during a fall semester tour of BAM. Students virtually submit their work and artist statements for consideration by a juror, the person tasked with selection of the work included in the culminating “Inspired” exhibition.

Fourteen schools participated in the program this year: Academies at Jonesboro High School, Bay High School, Blytheville High School, Brookland High School, Corning High School, Consolidated Youth Services, Harrisburg High School, Highland High School, Marked Tree High School, Paragould High School, Ridgefield Christian School, Trumann High School, Valley View High School, and Walnut Ridge High School.

The work was selected by juror Somayeh Faal, whose work is on view alongside “Inspired 2025” in the solo exhibition “Echoes of Silent Migration.”

“Inspired 2025” is open through Dec. 17 alongside “Echoes of Silent Migration” and “hikâye | story,” a solo exhibition from Arkansas State University painting professor Lydia Dildilian.
