Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 14, 2024 – We’ve put together a Cheat Sheet to help you remember important dates regarding the 2024 General Election.
September 20th – Deadline for delivery of ballots to military and overseas citizens who make a timely application for voting via absentee ballots.
October 7th – Deadline to register to vote. If you are already registered to vote but need to update any information you can do that up to or on election day!
October 21st – November 4th – Early voting, it will end the Monday before Election Day. This will be early voting for the 2024 General Election and Craighead County’s Annual November School Election. Early voting will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday. It will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 4 pm. Early voting sites are the Craighead County Election Annex located at 315 W Jefferson in Jonesboro and the Lake City Courthouse Eastern Annex located at 113 Cobean Blvd in Lake City.
November 1st – deadline for the County-to-County voter registration transfers in Arkansas. It is also the deadline for the county clerk to receive in-person applications for absentee ballots for the General Election and the November Annual School Election from the voter, a designated bearer, or an administrator. Finally, it will be the deadline for voters, designated bearers, or administrators to personally deliver absentee ballots to the county clerk.
November 5th – Election Day, polls will be open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.
