Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 5, 2025 — Hope Found of Northeast Arkansas is inviting the community to ride against human trafficking in June with its annual outdoor event.
The Ride Against Trafficking will be held on June 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be the fifth year of the ride.
“This annual event helps raise awareness and funds to help us provide case management and long-term advocacy services to victims of human trafficking and also helps us to educate the
community,” said Megan Brown, Hope Found executive director, in a news release.
The event will include bikers, cyclists, and a family fun ride as participants ride to end human trafficking. It will take place at Craighead Forest Park at Access 3, located at 4910 S. Culberhouse St. Rides are followed by a BBQ lunch for all participants, which begins at 11:30 a.m.
Along their routes, riders will learn facts about human trafficking and participate in a dice run.
Participants will roll dice at check-in, at three locations along their route, and at the end of their route. Each roll’s results are recorded, and their total is tallied at the end. The winners with the highest number receive $100, and the lowest number receive $50.
“This event is a great opportunity for families to enjoy Craighead’s bike paths while supporting a great cause,” said Amanda Herget, cycling enthusiast and community advocate. “Gearhead
Outfitters is proud to support this event because it encourages families and cyclists to enjoy time together, while also raising funds to support Hope Found.”
The cycle and the Family Fun Ride will take place within Craighead Forest Park, utilizing the cycling path around the park. Biker and cyclist registration is $20, with a $10 charge for an extra rider on motorcycles. It is $10 for adults in the Family Fun Ride, and children ride free, but donations are accepted.
