Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 13, 2024 – Several Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce members joined other community members as they celebrated Home2 Suites by Hilton of Jonesboro’s grand opening on Friday.
The brand-new, 96-room hotel officially opened its doors and held a tour of its building. It is located at 3011 Whitemans Creek Drive in Jonesboro, off Red Wolf Blvd behind Red Lobster.
All rooms are suites and have a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Other amenities include barbecue grills, fire pits, dining, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and more.
Home2 Suites by Hilton of Jonesboro owner Sam Patel said it has taken a little over two years to open the hotel.
“We’re finally here,” he said. “I hope to add a lot of value to this market and another good quality hotel.”
Home2 Suites by Hilton of Jonesboro General Manager Ellen Self praised the hotel staff, which employs about 30 people.
“I have one amazing crew that all came from the Jonesboro area. So, congratulations to your workforce,” she said. “Our goal here is to mentor people to be the next leaders. Home2 is pet friendly and we’re your home away from home.”
