Holland Lowell “Butch” Burr of Trumann departed this life on Friday, July 19th at The Springs Health and Rehab in Jonesboro at the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 28 days. He was born Wednesday, October 21, 1953 in and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann.  Holland was an Army veteran and he retired from Allied Signal Aerospace as a brake technician. Holland loved country music and using his mechanical skills and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents,  Hubert Lavon and Hazel Parlee Holland Burr.

He is survived by his  one daughter, Cindy Pircon; two brothers, Garry (Mary) Burr of Grand Prairie, TX and Larry (Brenda) Burr of Cave City, AR; and one sister, Regina (David) Ellington of Jacksonville, TN.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00  to 11:00 am at  Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.    A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel with Jimmy Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Marvin Cemetery near Poughkeepsie at 2:00 p.m. with military rites.
