Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 27, 2024 – Jonesboro Police responded to a domestic violence call on Monday morning after a 26-year-old female stated that her 46-year-old ex-boyfriend had been harassing her.
According to the incident report, JPD was contacted around 9am on Monday, however the complainant needed a translator, so one was contacted.
Through the use of a translator, the complainant stated that in June, the suspect had allegedly forced her onto the bed, ripped off her pajamas, and forcibly raped her. She also said that the suspect had been harassing her and had physically assaulted her.
The Criminal Investigation Division was then notified, and a detective was assigned to the case.
Listed charges include domestic battery in the 3rd degree, harassment, and rape, but no arrest has been made.
