Little Rock, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Tuesday several appointments to various government boards, with some appointees from Craighead County.

Justin Craft of Bono was reappointed to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board. Craft’s term is set to expire Jan. 14, 2028. Barry LaFarlette, of Jonesboro, whose term expires Dec. 31, 2030, was appointed to the State Banking Board. He replaces Randy Scott.

In addition, Heather Maxey of Mountain Home was named to the Arkansas State University System Board of Trustees. Maxey’s term is set to expire Jan. 14, 2033, and replaces James Eddington.

  • Alex Blass, Rogers, to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2032. Reappointment.

Arkansas Economic Development Council

  • Lance McAlindon, Centerton, to the Arkansas Economic Development Council. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2030. Replaces James Smith.

Arkansas Forestry Commission

  • Ray Dillon, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2031. Reappointment.

Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission

  • Bob Connell, Searcy, to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2031. Replaces Deborah Hoofman.
  • Martin Smith, Cherry Valley, to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2035. Replaces Lucien Gillham.

Arkansas Real Estate Commission

  • Suzett Sparks, Rogers, to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2028. Replaces Jerry Halsey.
