Little Rock, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 22, 2025 — Two Jonesboro natives were appointed to state boards and committees by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, her office announced Wednesday.

Hannah King was appointed to the Arkansas State Occupational Therapy Examining Committee, with her term set to expire March 1, 2030. She replaces Justin Brazeal. She is an occupational therapist at the Learning Center of NEA.

This committee assists the Arkansas State Medical Board regarding the licensing and regulation of occupational therapy. The committee has five seats, three of which are to be occupied by licensed occupational therapists.

Julie Matthews was reappointed to the State Board of Appraisers, Abstractors, and Home Inspectors. Her term is set to expire April 15, 2028. She is the owner of Matthews Appraisal Service.

This board regulates the appraising, abstracting and home inspection professions. The board has 11 members. Members are chosen based on their experience in those fields.
