Mrs. Gloria Jean White of Harrisburg departed this life on Friday, October 25 ,2024, at her home at the age of 73.
She was born October 6, 1951 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of John Volner and Betty Terrell Volner.
Gloria was a nurse and worked at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, and the Emergency Room in several places. She enjoyed traveling and she loved her husband, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Lavonne Rasdall.
She is survived by her husband, Dale White of the home. A son, Donnie and his wife, Kimberly Rasdall. Four daughters, Donna and husband Shawn Rowe Butler, Patricia Volner and husband Terry Janes, Justina Stephanie Busse and Jennifer Prudance Wilson. Eight Grandchildren, Cameron Peters, Marlee Rasdall, Andrew ( Brooke) Rasdall, Adam Holmes, Blake Busse, Ashley Busse, Danovan Wilson and Cortnii (Drace) Palmer. Many great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye Arkansas. Visitation will be in the Gregg-Weston Chapel from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Interment will follow in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
