Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 17, 2025 – The Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation announced the Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger Award 2025 watch list on Friday, listing 46 players including Arkansas State baseball seniors Wil French and Cason Tollett.

The award is based on performance at the plate, academics, personal integrity, and includes 16 conferences along with one independent. The 2025 watch list features 29 juniors, 14 seniors, two sophomores, and one graduate student.

French is currently in his fourth season at A-State, batting .276 with 132 runs scored, 75 RBIs, 27 doubles, and six home runs over 138 starts and appearances. The infielder is averaging a .250 clip with a double and run scored in the first two games against Morehead State.

Tollett is also in his fourth season at A-State, batting .267 with 10 home runs and 53 RBIs over 76 starts and 79 appearances. Two games into 2025, Tollett is hitting .250 with a double and walk.

The BBNCSA originally started out in 2017 as an honor going to the top college hitter in Texas. In 2019, the BBNCSA expanded, becoming a regional award covering Division I programs in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The BBNCSA became a national award in 2020.

The winner of the BBNCSA will be announced in June.
