Freddie Earl Yarbrough, aged 60, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on December 12, 1963, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Freddie was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend.
Freddie is survived by his cherished daughter, Rachael, and her fiancé, Ryan Vaugh of Dallas, Texas. He leaves behind his loving mother, Judy Williams, and step-dad, Neyl, of Searcy, Arkansas, as well as his sister, Lisa Wilmath, and her husband Jeff, also of Searcy. His nephews, Cody Wilmath and his wife Grace of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Casey Wilmath of Searcy, will fondly remember their uncle. Freddie’s memory will also be cherished by his special aunts and uncles, Janet Hagood, Carolyn Collins, Chris Edington, and Darrell Agee, along with his dear friend, Robin Surrette.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Stanley, and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Alma Yarbrough, as well as his maternal grandparents, Delano and Helen Edington.
Freddie was a proud graduate of ASU, class of 1984, and went on to have a successful career as an account executive in transportation, earning several awards for his outstanding sales performance. He was the owner and operator of World Expedited Transportation until 2007.
In his younger years, Freddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wrestling, and playing wiffle ball with friends. He was an avid Razorback fan, known for his enthusiasm in calling the Hogs, and cherished the time spent discussing games with his uncle Chris.
Freddie’s life will be celebrated with services held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by James Hays. Burial will take place at Nelson Cemetery. Pallbearers honored to serve include Ralph Morrow, Jimmy Edington, Lindsey Ringo, Spike Jones, Cody, and Casey Wilmath.
