Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Haag Brown Commercial has announced the sale of 2908 S. Caraway Road to First Methodist Church of Jonesboro. The transaction closed on Dec. 1.

The church will occupy 55,000 SF and will use the building to accommodate traditional and contemporary worship services, along with dedicated areas for youth, children, and small group ministries. The property’s location, just off Interstate 555, makes it an easily accessible facility that supports the church’s ongoing growth and outreach efforts.

“We are thrilled to have this location as our new home,” said John Miles, senior pastor of First Methodist Church of Jonesboro. “We feel this facility will allow us to meet the needs of our congregation for worship, fellowship, and small group space. It will also give us a very visible presence in the community. Our church seeks to serve this community and reach others for Christ. We believe this facility will help us fulfill our mission of ‘Putting Jesus First in Our Lives!’”

In 2023, Haag Brown worked to fully redevelop the prominent Jonesboro landmark, giving the property a significant facelift and a complete rebranding. The real estate organization helped facilitate the sale to the faith-based organization, which has deep roots in the region.

“I remember walking this building with Fred Dacus nearly 20 years ago, when the old grocery store was being redeveloped into a call center,” said Joshua Brown, principal at Haag Brown Commercial. “To see it come full circle, now becoming a place of worship and community, is incredibly special. So many of my close friends and longtime clients are part of First Methodist Church of Jonesboro, and knowing this space will help them grow and expand their ministry makes being part of this journey especially meaningful.”

The property’s location on S. Caraway Road places the church in one of the most accessible and visible corridors in Jonesboro. Surrounded by established neighborhoods, businesses, and retail centers, the location offers both convenience and community engagement opportunities.
