Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 15, 2024 – As Christmas approaches, Emerson Ambulance Service wants to help four-legged friends have a great Christmas as well with their 2nd annual Animal Food and Toy Drive for the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS).

Becky McAdoo, Emerson Ambulance Service paramedic manager, said they need food, toys clothes, beds, cleaning supplies, pet shampoo, and more for dogs, cats and horses.

“We just want to help our fur-babies have a great Christmas too,” she said, noting that they received an ambulance of donations to take to the NEAHS last year and want to do even better this year.

The drive was the idea of Promotions Manager Eric White.

“We wanted to do something for the Holidays,” McAdoo explained. “We were going to do a normal food drive, but there are already so many food drives that we wanted to do something different, so we decided to do one for animals because we are all animal lovers.”

Donations can be dropped off through December 26 at Emerson Ambulance Service at 1703 E Nettleton Ave. One can also schedule a pickup for donations if needed. To schedule a pickup time, contact McAdoo at 870-935-0380.

“Let’s make this a great Christmas for all the fur-babies,” McAdoo said.
