Ella B. Higginbottom, 92, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born February 28, 1932 in Greene County, AR to the late Luther W. and Maggie Lairson Starling.  She was married to Burl Higginbottom on April 11, 1953.  She worked in environmental services at St. Anthony Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Maggie Starling; husband, Burl Higginbottom; brothers, William, Hershal, Pink, Calvin, and Raymond Starling; sister, Joyce Grow; one infant brother; and two infant sisters.

Ella is survived by many nieces and nephews; friend, Pat Hausman; and her family at StoneBridge Senior Living.

All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Jeff Hamm officiating.  Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
