Eddie Smith Cook, 83, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his home in Pocahontas.
Eddie was born on November 27, 1941, in Maynard AR to Marcus H. Cook and Nova Pearl Smith. On July 2, 1959, he married the love of his life, Virginia Woods Cook, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Eddie was a factory worker.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents and one great-grandchild, Wrenlee Kate Cook. He leaves behind his children, Debbie (Steve) Powers of Ravenden Springs, AR, Sandy (Timothy) Parsons of Jonesboro, AR, and Charles Eddie Cook of Springdale, AR; as well as eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Throughout his life, Eddie was known for his kindness, warmth, and unwavering support for his family and friends. His loving spirit and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cremation has been chosen as the final disposition.
