Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 3, 2024 – A Jonesboro man was given a $100,000 bond after a judge found probable cause to charge him with three felonies and several misdemeanors.
Special Judge Ralph Wilson found probable cause to charge Jonathan Williams, 25, with simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, a class Y felony, and possession of a Schedule I or II drug not methamphetamine or cocaine, and possession of a firearms by a certain person, both class D felonies.
He is also charged with driving on a suspended license, and possession of marijuana.
According to a probable cause affidavit, a traffic stop was conducted after 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Melrose St. Williams was driving the vehicle. A probable search was made on the vehicle and marijuana and suspected ecstasy pills were found, as well as a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun.
Williams next court date is July 29 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
