Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Some streets in downtown Jonesboro will be temporarily closed this weekend for The Skirmish: A Delta Gravel Festival.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, Main Street from Washington to Cate avenues will be closed from Thursday, May 28, at noon to Saturday, May 30, at 8 p.m. In addition, the Main Street and Monroe Avenue parking lot will be closed.

Union Street will be closed Saturday, May 30, from Cate/Burke to Washington avenues from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The post said drivers should plan for alternate routes, allow for extra travel time, and be aware of cyclists on the road for the event.

The Skirmish: A Delta Gravel Festival is a four-day festival in Jonesboro, with biking routes spanning across Northeast Arkansas. It will have live music and vendors, a free Family Fun Ride, and more. It begins Thursday, May 28, and continues through Sunday, May 31.
