Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — July 23, 2025 — A downtown Jonesboro road will be temporarily closed starting tomorrow.
According to a news release from Craighead County, Madison Street west of the Craighead County Courthouse Annex, between Jefferson Street and Washington Avenue, will close beginning Thursday, July 24.
The closure begins at 6 a.m. on Thursday and remains in effect Friday, July 25 at 5 p.m.
Craighead County Judge Marvin Day said the road was closed to allow crews to make repairs to the sewer line connected to the Justice Complex, which is temporarily closed.
Road closure signs will be posted, and motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
