Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 23, 2024 – A 36-year-old Domino’s delivery driver got caught off-guard as a group of teenagers stole his pizza delivery out of his vehicle.

902 Scott Street was the address on his delivery order, but that’s an apartment complex, so he wasn’t sure which door to knock on. He called the number on the ticket…no answer. When he got out of his car to look for the customer, a group of 8-10 teenagers were just hanging around. He told police they all looked to be between 15 and 21, and he thought they were acting suspiciously, so he said he locked his car when he got out.

One of the girls in the group got his attention and told him the order was going to Apartment B. He walked over to her, and she began asking him questions about the pizza order and how to pay for it. At this point, he turned back to his vehicle to discover that his rear doors were open, and the group of teens were running away with all of the pizzas. They took everything…7 pizzas from two different delivery orders.

After the fact, he told the officer that he realized the girl was distracting him so that the group could grab the food. No damage to his car was done, and he admitted he may have been wrong about locking his doors.

He and the officer couldn’t find anyone around that ordered any pizza. There was someone in Apartment B, but they said they didn’t order anything. The resident did say that groups of teenagers hung around the area a lot, but he didn’t know who any of them were.
