A 35-year-old Jonesboro woman contacted police about her vehicle being stolen. She had recently purchased a gray 2023 Nissan Altima a couple weeks ago and she wanted to get it detailed.
Her nephew knew a guy, and the victim contacted him. This guy came to her location, picked up her new car and never brought it back.
She’s tried getting in touch with him. Nothing. Her nephew hasn’t had any luck either. She didn’t know anything about this detail guy, other than the fact that her nephew recommended him, and she has no idea where he was taking the car to get it clean. She does not know the man’s address.
It’s valued at just under $25,000 and she’d like to get it back. JPD is investigating.
