The Baritone Jazz Junction is a rotating jazz collective of professional musicians and educators from across Arkansas, presented by The Baritone Foundation. The ensemble brings together artists to present a curated program of straight-ahead jazz that highlights the tradition and legacy of the art form.
“The Baritone Jazz Junction isn’t a fixed band; it’s a meeting point. We bring together musicians from across Arkansas who are committed to jazz, education, and community,” said Christopher Crutchfield, founder of The Baritone Foundation.

The Baritone Foundation is a Central Arkansas–based nonprofit dedicated to making high-quality jazz education and performances accessible to communities across Arkansas.
“Jazz has always been a communal art form; it’s about shared history, shared space, and shared experience. Bringing this music into public spaces like the library is exactly why The Baritone Foundation exists,” Crutchfield added.
The concert series is sponsored by Friends of CCJPL, St. Bernards Healthcare & Medical Group, Farmers & Merchants Bank, BEST Manufacturing, NEA Baptist, Simmons Bank, Swept Away, and First Security Bank.
The library is located at 315 W. Oak Ave. For more information about the library, visit its website, Facebook page, or call 870-935-5133.
