Harrisburg, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 20, 2024 – A big change for those traveling between Harrisburg and Jonesboro, ARDOT announced that Highway 1 between Harrisburg and Jonesboro will experience alternating lane closures over the next four weeks starting tomorrow, June 21.
The 13-mile construction zone will span from Highway 14 (W Jackson) in Harrisburg to Highway 158 (Lawson Road) in Jonesboro.
Weather permitting, crews will cold mill and overlay the existing pavement from 6am to 7pm each day.
Traffic will be controlled with the use of cones and signage.
Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
