Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – March 26, 2024 – Haag Brown has announced the opening of Cold Stone Creamery in The Highlands Shopping Center in Jonesboro this summer, according to a news release.

With over 30 years of operations, Cold Stone Creamery is poised to become a mecca for Northeast Arkansas’ ice cream lovers. Its arrival marks a significant moment for Jonesboro, which hasn’t announced a new national ice cream shop in nearly a decade. With several popular chains exiting the area like TCBY, Bruster’s, and Shakes, Cold Stone Creamery will fill a void in the area.

Cold Stone Creamery is renowned for its innovative desserts, offering a diverse range of items such as ice cream, cakes, smoothies, and shakes. Their custom ice cream creations are made on frozen granite stones with a variety of mix-ins for to choose from, the release said.

“Cold Stone Creamery is the Ultimate Ice Cream Experience: offering a super-premium, artisanal ice cream that is made fresh in our store daily. With an endless array of mix-in combinations, our customers can dream up their own Cold Stone Creation. We like to call it a ‘10-minute vacation’ and can’t wait to bring this iconic dessert brand to the community of Jonesboro,” said Bobby Byram, vice president of Glenmar Enterprises.

Haag Brown is confident the addition of Cold Stone Creamery will attract customers to one of Northeast Arkansas’ largest shopping centers. Located on the corner of East Highland Drive and Red Wolf Boulevard, the ice cream parlor will be nestled between Huddle House and Fuji’s Japanese Steakhouse within the Highlands Shopping Center, managed by Haag Brown’s Asset Management Division.

“We are beyond excited to announce that Cold Stone Creamery is the newest addition to The Highlands. Their presence will undoubtedly bring an extra touch of excitement to our already vibrant tenant mix,” said Dylan Qualls of Haag Brown Asset Management.

Construction on the space will begin soon, and Cold Stone is projected to open this summer, the release said.
