Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – According to a community service announcement, City Water and Light (CWL) will be flushing its water system from April 12 to 17.
Various areas within the city limits will be flushed. Flushing is a routine maintenance process where city crews rapidly flow water through fire hydrants and water mains to clean pipes, remove sediment buildup, and improve water quality.
The flushing will run from 10:00 p.m. to approximately 6:00 a.m. and ensure the city has high-quality water while removing stagnant water in dead ends and ensuring fire hydrants are working properly.
