Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 4, 2025 — With more severe weather forecasted for Friday night, the City of Jonesboro is providing free sandbags to city residents.
Sandbags are limited to 20 per vehicle. Pickup began at 8 p.m. and lasts until 4:30 p.m. There will be no pickup from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. They are available while supplies last.
City crews will assist with loading the bags into vehicles, weather permitting. The pickup location is 1624 Strawfloor Drive.
Craighead County Judge Marvin Day said the county would not be providing sandbags on Friday, April 4.
