Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 22, 2024 – The City of Jonesboro will be adjusting its sanitation routes during the week of Christmas.

The updated sanitation schedule is below:

  • Monday, Dec. 23: Normal collection
  • Tuesday, Dec. 24: NO collection
  • Wednesday, Dec. 25: NO collection
  • Thursday, Dec. 26: Tuesday and Wednesday route (regular). Recycling routes for the fourth Tuesday and Wednesday will run.
  • Friday, Dec. 27: Thursday route (regular), plus fourth Thursday recycling
  • Saturday, Dec. 28: Friday route (regular)

“The Sanitation Department will be working on Saturday, Dec. 28 to ensure catching up from the holiday collections. Updates will be provided through city social media outlets,” a City of Jonesboro Facebook post read.

In addition, all City of Jonesboro offices will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 in observance of the holiday.
