Chris Eric Balcom of Jonesboro, departed this life Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his home at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 25 days. He was born March 9, 1972 at Shaw AFB in South Carolina to Thomas David and Brenda Sue Balcom. Chris was a loving  son, a torment to his younger sister Andrea, a gaming buddy to his cousin Nick and a friend to those that knew him best.      He worked at NEA Baptist Cardiac Cath Lab for 13 years after graduation as an RN. He took on new roles and positions during this time and was often encouraged to do so by fellow-workers. He felt close to these co-workers and considered them good friends and a kind of second family. He loved his job and was dedicated  to the tasks at hand. He loved building computers and was the go to guy when stuff broke. He was a member of the Greensboro Road Church of Christ. Chris will be missed by all.      He is survived by his parents and his sister, Andrea L. Balcom all of Trumann.       Services will be announced at a later date.
